Standpoint mag loses publisher

Standpoint, the conservative monthly that was launched with much fanfare only a few months ago, has already lost its publisher, according to a tidbit in Prospect. So much for that Conservative revolution then.

it’s hardly surprising. the standard of writing is incredibly poor for a magazine that was meant to take on things like prospect, the LRB and the Economist, and the position taken by every single writer is so predictable as to be not worth reading. plus it cost a staggering £4.50, and all of it was available online.
